Muleshoe, Texas (May 4^th, 2021) – Muleshoe Area Medical Center is proud to announce Callie Castle, FNP as a new addition to our staff of medical providers.

Callie grew up in in Tahoka, just south of Lubbock and remembers being interested in medicine early in life. Callie says, “I was 6 years old when my brother was born, I remember going to the hospital and being fascinated with everything that went on there, I knew right then I was going into the medical field.”

Starting her nursing career in 2006, Callie has worked in hospitals around Lubbock in various nursing roles.  A few years ago, she decided to get her master’s in nursing and completed that program in December of 2020 and was certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner in January of 2021.

“I wanted to continue my education and become a Family Nurse Practitioner so I could do as much as possible for my patients.  I love rural health care and enjoy finding resources for patients that might not always be available in smaller towns.” Callie says.

“We are happy for Callie to join our family at Muleshoe Area Medical Center,” stated Dennis Fleenor, Administrator.  He adds, “her experience in health care will be a great addition to our medical staff and allow us to better serve the community.”

“Giving our hospitals the resources needed to serve the community is a top priority,” says Jared Chanski, Executive Vice President of Preferred Management, the company that manages Muleshoe Area Medical Center. He continues, “We want to ensure that if a patient in Muleshoe needs it, high quality health care is accessible to them.”
